SKATEISTAN – KABUL

During the month of February 2020, at Hydroponic we will donate 10% of our monthly sales to the SKATEISTAN Association, a non-profit organization that has worked for many years to educate through skateboarding and distribute illusion among thousands of girls and boys. They live in troubled areas and need all possible help.

It all started with one man and his three skateboards on the streets of Kabul in 2007. His idea became Skateistan, the first international development initiative to combine skateboarding with educational outcomes.

Skateistan was founded in Kabul, Afghanistan in 2007. They now have Skate Schools in Kabul and Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan; Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Johannesburg, South Africa, reaching thousands of children and youth.
